Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most organizations use. We treat that as ongoing work, not a box we checked once.

What we’ve built in

• Every page has one clear heading structure and a “Skip to content” link for keyboard users.
• Every image has a text description, and purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• The whole site can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on links, buttons, and form fields.
• Text scales with your browser’s zoom and font-size settings, and the layout adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops.
• Scroll animations are turned off for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion.
• Quote-request form fields are labeled, and required fields are marked so assistive technology announces them.
• You never have to use the website to reach us. Call (530) 338-6085, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4pm, and we’ll take your quote request by phone.

Known limitations

The installation video on our homepage does not yet have captions or a transcript. We’re working on it. In the meantime, the same process is written out step by step on our Installation page.

Some project photos were supplied by our manufacturer or by customers, and we’re still improving their descriptions. Third-party services we link to, such as review platforms and map services, are outside our control.

How we check

Every release of this site runs through automated accessibility checks, and we spot-check pages with a keyboard and a screen reader. When a check finds a problem, we fix it before the update goes live.
